At the second edition of India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2018 presented by Samsung and supported by Huawei, Smartpur represented Nokia as part of the latter’s CSR initiative. Held from October 25 – 27, 2018, a dummy model of the Smartpur hub centre was recreated at IMC to showcase all facilities that are distributed under the six development pillars of Smartpur – education, health, livelihood, governance, finance and entertainment.
The Smartpur showcase at IMC witnesses a good footprint, with relevant stakeholders coming up at the project’s bamboo-made set up.
IMC also saw participation from a global round of tech giants and presented a platform for start-ups in the country. The three-day congregation allowed room for dialogie on digital ecosystem, encompassing 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), smart cities, start-ups, privacy and open networks, among others.
Meanwhile, Smartpur, under its Health pillar, has collaborated with an online platform called DocOnline. Under this collaboration, telemedicine services, such as a consultation from a wide group of 300-plus doctors who will be available online and accessible to villagers at project locations, will be offered.
